Tomorrow we ...
Tomorrow I go back in the gray London, although a friend of mine sent me an email saying that there was the sun, although at the time of writing the email was raining. I do not I have no illusions. I'll be back in the cold and rain I know how familiar scenario, and peace and goodwill. My first week (beginning Wednesday, March 2) is expected to last, if not hard, with lots of overtime already put in my shift, even if I had not thought about. That's amazing, you know, are optional, but since the shortage of staff there is pulling the neck, you know you have to grind twice. Hurrah! So
work from Wednesday to Sunday included, but I sincerely hope you have enough free next Monday or cry this time!
If I survive, I do know.

The last days of February
We are close to the end of the month and my little holiday is about to turn to the Roman period. On March 1, returned to London and the desire to go back to work I'm really high-speed chase, but they are faster. Only, like it or not, I'll be back on March 2 to make the slave ... that the BFI does not treat its employees as slaves more than other companies, but we all are, with different owners. Okay, before you bring me down to the idea of \u200b\u200bhaving to go back to work I still have some vacation days at my disposal to use to see friends and relatives. My last holidays are always a mess, a fun run run to do anything yet I could not do. And promptly returned to London I got my things I've done, people I met, missed opportunities, shows that unseen, balances that I missed ... Sometimes I feel like I lead a double life, sometimes I feel like prisoners in a special license. My Roman Holiday last forever too little. Then I get some interesting ideas but do not have time to develop them because I got to get work. Interesting how the situation is reversed. When I lived in Rome and found any excuse to visit London, it was there that I would throw creative ideas, was that I was on vacation, the weather was not enough for me ever. Now that I live "there" the daily monotony moved with me, the problems, lack of time, have moved with me. This is not an original thought, but it seems pretty obvious that there is no country or city where they can feel free to do and create. The life of every day is a real monster to defeat if you want to remove the feet from the ground.

Thanks for paying your voices to give voice to my words. Thanks also to all those present that with your warm welcome you have managed to make me relax and talk quietly in public ... Spacewalker Drivers Mv42v1.3
Today and tomorrow
It is one seven at night, even if my English marks twelve seven a.m. watch. Should I go to bed, tomorrow I have proof with Gabriela Sabatini and Catherine Gramaglia for the presentation of the books of February 18. And as usual I can not go to sleep. I do not suffer from insomnia, for heaven's sake, just rests his head on the pillow I will be projected in a dream world. In fact, if I can resume the dream last night even better (sometimes I have dreams of a bet), which was half the movie. There was a cast of zombie-vampires who moved only during daylight and not at night, so the good guys (me comrpesa eh!) In the dream / film had to go dig out the bad guys at night, but could not shed light not to wake sti zombie-vampires. So imagine to find in the dark (in a dream) and someone does not know whether they are good or bad and then have only a few seconds for us to light up and decide to shoot first. It was a bit 'a dream / video game, not just a dream / films. I woke up this morning I was in middle tilt, definitely a bit 'rocketed.
But today and tomorrow, what it's like past midnight in abundance. San Remo I decided to see me and I'm late. Why? Well, it's one of those milestones annual Italian television, not for quality but for whatever I would say, and why unleash all sorts of gossip, I could not watch it. Then I do not like the Italian songs, except a very few authors who can write and sing, usually the Festival (with the accent on the A if you are old) to see him laugh. Tonight there was enough material comical I must say. There was also a lot of archaeological material. In short, an evening of history and prehistory. But let
San Remo ... I have to download a bit 'nervous tension because the day after the first presentation I will be a violin string. And then everyone is charged with internal or write or explode. Better than I write ... I am leaving the blog and go to fiction.

A wonderful evening and "Mud" Presentation
I'll be back just now from a wonderful evening in a pizzeria with my friends Valerie and Suleiman.
Pontarollo Solimano, you know, it's a great actor Veronese. And I have not missed an opportunity to do work in an evening of pleasure. I have not given the chance to try the piece, I did almost improvised. Here is his reading of a short story I wrote this morning, literally stolen a few minutes to midnight outside the pizzeria! If there was no internet to make everything so fast I do not know what else could be done. The story
is called "Mud" .
Enjoy.

Criss Cross Pipe Tobacco Lasvegas
two books, revenge (so to speak)!
addition to the presentation of my small book that I will do the Flexi in Rome on February 18, I'll also February 17 at Books & Brunch 19.30. The
Books & Brunch is a library / bar with kitchen (cold dishes), it is wonderful, has a welcoming atmosphere.
evenings of 17 and 18 will not only be in different locations, but will also different experiences. If you will, it would be nice to see you both. The 18 to Flexi we have the good fortune to listen to two excellent actors, and Catherine Sabatini Gabriele Gramaglia, who will be challenged to read some of my compositions. On 17 at Books & Brunch instead we will, unbelievably, unless Lorenzo Bartoli and Leomacs be accompanied by a presentation. Leomacs is a very good illustrator who created the cover of "Strange Chrysalis" (I know as a designer of Bonelli for example), but Bartoli is a writer Lorenzo and very good Italian novelist (King Arthur, John Doe are his creations, but has worked for years to Launch Story and Skorpio, Comic Art, etc.. just to mention a few comics known), who offered to read excerpts from books.
Here's the poster for the explanations, address, etc..

Manager telephony, thou hast caused me and I will change you!
Having already abandoned the old Telecom for many years, my sister had done to my father a mobile phone contract with a company that offered a fixed fee of Best Value package with unlimited calls on national network without connection fee. This is useful because Dad has a brother who lives in the north and other friends and relatives around Italy. A couple of days ago but the manager tells us that their lines are changing from analog to digital, which is a must and therefore we have to change the phone package. And vabbeh, it happens. Except that the new packages do not give us anything extra and cost twice as much. Dad asks, "but you can not leave the contract I have now? The answer is an obvious "no." But maybe Dad does not understand that if they must spend a lot of money to renovate their telephone network from analog to digital, and somewhere must find the funds. Now, not to be critical and to make comparisons between England and Italy just to do ... but in England the law applies the best offer. If a provider (or any company that offers a paid service) decides to change the contract, usually does everything possible to keep the customer. Then offer some free, discount (perhaps for a limited period), offers attractive alternatives ... things like that. In Italy however it happens that you may be told that in addition to changing the contract and make you pay more do not offer anything new, in more or better. Not only ... then if you go to see their web site Note that for new customers, the same package you want to trim at a higher price, it costs almost half. This is because all the Italians are the pheasants? Masochists? Perhaps they have money to squander? I would say no ... but surely there are two basic reasons (maybe more, but I can think of two right now). One is a country of old people ... Or even say, a country of old. Two, I believe that our marketing experts in Italy do not understand much about competition and marketing. So our old handler will spring for a new one that offers better service, the package we need to look at ourselves and look at half the price you pay when my father, or one third of what they would pay under the old handler if had agreed to remain with them to new conditions. Why I pulled in that dance is a country for old men? Why I bet that many elderly people can not keep up with various marketing offers, unless you have something to do with the points and 3x2 cards at the supermarket. And in general end up welter accept contracts terrible and expensive.
Our new manager, I've chosen after a comparative browsing the web, Fastweb will be ... my father can not pronounce. At the moment it hangs and says Fastfood (interesting how certain words of our popular culture insidino in the brains of elderly people) ... and if you agree (maybe reading) comes out something like "fastveb" version that looks like a German and a little 'threatening provider. Gulp!

You want blood? Presentation books
I'm not a morning person ... you say so? I just coined a new term? Well, it was to say I am not a person who loves the mornings, I do not like getting up, I always put us twenty minutes to roll out of bed, if I go to work I always put the alarm at least twenty minutes prior to the I should raise, but also often happens that I fell asleep again. Luckily there is a snooze button and playing every 9 minutes (do not know why I do not round figure of 10 minutes, maybe because it sounds for a minute?). At the moment, I'm at home in Rome, and my alarm and my dad. At the ripe old age of 82, after spending more than a year and a half to go back and forth between home and hospital as a cancer that has been fought to the sound of scalpels, chemotherapy and radiotherapy (which is at the age!), now you're putting it in sixth. And Dad has decidedly more strength and vitality of me. He gets up on time at 7.30 am (well, goes to bed at 20.30-21.00, though), you get breakfast, do a little 'cleaning, watch the news, reads newspapers and then as her daughter (me) still sleeping , at about 11am start knocking on the door to ask for a sign of life from me. I believe that my ability to hibernate like a bear should Marsicano in a matter of habit (I go to bed late at night), stress from work (yes, but who has no nce?) and also to some physical deficiency. To say that I feel is deflated and lethargic to say the least, but there are other small signs that the body sends you and tells you that something is wrong. Then the doctor told me he scored a series of blood tests (and not only that, but you understand, I need not say more) to determine if I have lack of iron or other deficiencies. Given that Dad must take exams on a regular basis now, we have organized our mission to take away the blood. So this morning I got up just before 8.00 (rolling on the strength out of bed) and I went with my father, spry as ever, hospital for tests. And then you encounter a society of files, red tape, but especially older Arzilli probably lined up from 7.30. The machine that has the numbers to line up does not give more details. We ask why ... seem to stop giving numbers (Lucky you!) after 9.00. but they are still nine ... Yes, but the machine is programmed and if it has stopped giving numbers mean that it is.
So me and Dad we had to go home empty-handed and keeping us close to our blood and in the morning I'll have to get up at 6:30 to beat the time the old men who give the assault Arzilli hospital.
It must be said ... touching loos pe 'field ....

Hope to see you at the library Flexi of Rome (ward Mountains), Friday 18 February, for the presentation of my two books, "Just like a whale" and "Strange Cryst. The presentation will begin at 19.00.
We will be able to listen to two actors is absolutely wonderful, Gabriele Sabatini and Catherine Gramaglia, who will read some poems and a story. The evening will be really interesting, with an atmosphere of storytelling around the fire, but without the fire.
